The Huntley Project Museum of Irrigated Agriculture tells the unique story of the homesteaders who transformed this valley from prairie desert to lush farmland. From an early homestead, complete with barn and outbuildings, to the brand new Museum Center's interactive exhibits, visitors can immerse themselves in the history of the homesteading era and life on the farm. See a typical small-town Main Street, walk through a restored 1908 homestead cabin, explore a 1920’s farm, watch the harvesting of traditional crops, talk with a costumed re-enactor, and try your hand at some common farm chores. Children can join in the fun with special exhibits and programs. The Huntley Project Museum is a fun, educational, and dynamic museum dedicated to |
